Find a way to inspire staff and ensure they feel SUPPORTED and CARED for, acknowledge acts of kindness and bravery so that staff feel APPRECIATED and bring HOPE into the hospital setting during a pandemic.

Using a narrative approach as opposed to presenting data shifted the tone. Compliance messages woven into personal testimonial stories helped combat the stigma and debunk myths. Integrating humour and placing messaging at key areas made staff reconsider how their behaviours contribute.
CREATION
Communication came to life through simple-to-understand messages and infographics, physical reminders in hospital spaces, and the sharing of stories.
